ABOUT ME

 

Nasco a Gela, ridente cittadina a sud-est della Sicilia. Da bambino volevo fare il dottore ed avere una fattoria. Il primo era per aiutare I malati ed I bisognosi dicevo, il secondo perche’ adoro gli animali ed il contatto con la natura. Il primo nel corso degli anni e’ diventato qualcosa d’altro mentre il secondo ancora persiste in un cassetto .Alla fine mi sono laureato in Antropologia, sempre per aiutare gli ultimi ed I bisognosi dicevo.

Ho viaggiato ed ho “cercato” di aiutare gli ultimi non sempre riuscendoci. Ma non smetto.

Sono allegro e spesso antipatico, non amo le folle e soprattutto le folle di gente ubriaca che parla ad alta voce, non amo la musica elettronica e le luci laser. Mi piace il jazz e la musica fatta con gli strumenti veri. A volte mi fermo, capita di fermarmi anche per lunghi periodi, ma poi riparto anche per lunghi periodi, ma poi torno, torno sempre.

Mi piace leggere I libri partendo dall’ultima pagina e poi ricominciare dalla prima per saltare a conclusioni affrettate e non finire di leggerlo, mi infastidisco quando mi dicono di tagliarmi la barba; la lascio crescere  per noia.

Un giorno andro’ in un monastero buddhista in Myanmar per starci un anno.

 

I was born in Gela.  A lovely town in the south-east of sicily.  When I was a boy I dreamed to be a doctor and live on a farm.  I dreamed to be a doctor because I wanted to help sick people and those in need.  I wanted to live on a farm because I love nature and I love animals and being around them.  The dream of being a doctor faded away but the dream of having and living in a farm still exists and hopefully one day it will come true.  At the end, I have a degree in anthropology which I thought it would still help those in needs. I traveled and I “tried” to help who needed me, not always with success however, I still continue to try.

I am cheerful, and often disagreeable.  I do not like big crowds and especially the crowds with loud drunk people.  I do not like electronic music and laser lights.  I like Jazz music and music made with real instruments.  Sometimes I stay in one place for a while.  Then I leave for long periods of time but at the end I always come back, I always do!

I like to read books starting always from the last page and then go back to the first so I know what happens. I don’t finish reading the book.  It really bothers me when I am told to shave; I grow it because I am lazy.

One day I will go in Myanmar to live in a Buddhist monastery for one year.
